AMATEUR & COLLEGIATE

UNIVERSITY OF WISCONSIN BADGERS

There's nothing like Badger gameday. You'll find the red and white covering the city. And spirit like no other. Twenty-three men's and women's teams keep Badger season going year-round. Want to get in on the fun? Get your tickets online.

MADISON MALLARDS

Family-friendly atmosphere and high-level summer collegiate baseball. The Madison Mallards are a staple of Madison summers. Head to the Duck Pond to watch future big-leaguers play in an intimate setting. The Mallards lead off the summer with a season that runs from May until August.

MADISON CAPITOLS

Top amateur hockey talent from around the country spend their time on Madison's ice. The Madison Capitols hockey team features top-flight talent, local beer and fun for fans of all ages. The puck drops in October, and the season ends in April.

MADISON NIGHT MARES

The Madison Night Mares are a summer collegiate softball team, part of the Northwoods League and sister team to the Madison Mallards. The Night Mares were also crowned the winners of the 2025 Northwoods League Softball Championship! Catch a game at Warner Park from May through early August.

Can't get enough college sports? Madison is home to two other colleges with thriving athletic programs. Madison College (Wolfpack) and Edgewood College (Eagles), provide opportunities to watch everything from baseball to volleyball and tennis throughout Madison.

FORWARD MADISON FC

Professional soccer, ravenous fans and a downtown venue you need to see. What more could you need? Forward Madison FC plays at the historic Breese Stevens Field, just blocks from the State Capitol. The Flamingos take the pitch from April through September.

COMING IN 2026: UNITED SOCCER LEAGUE (USL) W LEAGUE MADISON

Women’s soccer is coming to Breese Stevens Field in 2026! USL W League Madison will be the first women’s sports franchise to call this iconic venue home. Madison is a women's sports destination and we're thrilled to add yet another professional women's team to our roster. Become a Founding Member of USL W League Madison by placing a season ticket deposit here.

LOVB MADISON VOLLEYBALL

LOVB Madison is the city's first professional women's sports team. The team, which comprises volleyball MVPs, kicked off its inaugural season in January 2025. LOVB Madison is home to three former UW–Madison volleyball players: Temi Thomas-Ailara, 2023 ESPY Female Athlete of the Year Nominee Sarah Franklin and Olympic silver medalist Lauren Carlini. LOVB Madison matches take place from January through April.

Already an ultimate aficionado? Want to discover disc lingo like bidginity, Callahan and scoober? There's nowhere better than Madison. The Madison Radicals are a champion-caliber team in the American Ultimate Disc League. Check them out from April through August.
