Slow Art: Meditative Magpie Stitched Scroll

Discover the joy of slow stitching. Begin with a guided meditation led by Wildflower Therapies, followed by a slow viewing of the Playhouse Gallery exhibition “Nothing New,” curated by Textile Arts Center. Then join artist Deborah Kades for a Magpie Stitched Scroll workshop. Using simple embroidery stitches, you’ll attach fabric, buttons and charms to a premade scroll, exploring color and texture in a project for all skill levels.
