Newly opened in May 2026, The Center for Black Excellence and Culture is a cultural education and economic center intended to realize Black excellence embedded in the Greater Madison community. Programming will include innovation and leadership development spaces, history, culture and gathering places, performance theatres and studios, plus wellness spaces.
One Social Food Hall offers several food vendors, spacious seating areas and a bar serving local beers and cocktails. It is conveniently located down the street from Monona Terrace Community & Convention Center. The One Social District also includes One Prime steakhouse and Blue Jack, a cocktail lounge and speakeasy. A public promenade and plaza overlooks the Lake Monona waterfront, offering stunning panoramic views and a place to gather, relax and socialize.
Spark by Hilton Madison Central is a newly-renovated hotel located on the Alliant Energy Center campus. The hotel is directly connected to the Exhibition Hall by a climate-controlled walkway, and just minutes from downtown Madison, the University of Wisconsin–Madison and Dane County Regional Airport.
American Airlines has added a new daily nonstop flight to NYC's LaGuardia (LGA) Airport, complementing existing Delta service. That’s now three daily flights from MSN to NYC. More nonstop flights = more reasons to choose Madison!
2026
With plans to open in summer 2026, the Madison Public Market will be a year-round public marketplace that is expected to support over 130 local businesses with a mix of food, textiles and artisan products. This market will have an emphasis on inclusive programs and spaces that support the growth of minority-owned and other small businesses. The 45,000-square-foot building is Gold LEED-certified and will have a mezzanine with public seating to accommodate 150 guests and an event space to accommodate up to 610 guests.
New Direct Flights
Starting May 8, 2026, Breeze Airways will launch new nonstop summer seasonal service from Madison to Raleigh-Durham International Airport (RDU).
East coast meeting planners, take note! Delta Air Lines will launch new daily nonstop service between Madison and Boston Logan International Airport (BOS) starting June 7 and American Airlines will also offer a daily nonstop flight between MSN and BOS starting June 18. That means it’s easier than ever to bring your attendees straight into our vibrant, walkable and accessible city. With expanded flights at Dane County Regional Airport, a modern terminal and downtown hotels less than 15 minutes away, Madison sets the stage for gatherings that leave a lasting impression.
