Dane County Farmers' Market on the Square

The Saturday Dane County Farmers’ Market is the country's largest producer-only farmer's market. It is conveniently located on the tree-lined grounds surrounding the Wisconsin State Capitol building — otherwise known as “the Square” — in downtown Madison, Wisconsin. The Market encircles the Square.

The 2024 Saturday Market season will begin on Saturday, April 13 and go through November 9. The only Saturday Market where we are displaced from the Capitol Square is on July 13th, 2024 where we will be at Breese Stevens Field. Visit our website for more information!

As a producer-only farmers’ market, our vendors are limited by their production and harvest yields. This means that they may sell out before the close of Market. Please visit the Market early for the best experience.
