Open on Thanksgiving
Delta Beer Lab
Delta Beer Lab is celebrating community, diversity, and good food this Thanksgiving by opening their taproom to all people looking for a place to spend the holiday. The taproom will be open from 1 to 7 p.m. with a free Thanksgiving meal being served from 3 to 5 p.m. The first 150 people to call or register via Eventbrite will be first in line for food; everyone else will be admitted after the first 150 people have gone through the line.
Traditional Thanksgiving food will be served. Please see the server on-site for questions about ingredients and/or allergies. No to-go meals will be available.

The Edgewater Hotel
Join The Edgewater from 11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (seatings every 30 minutes) for a Thanksgiving meal prepared by Executive Chef Matt Chingo in The Grand Ballroom. Indulge in a holiday feast with all the classic flavors including a 24-hour brined roast turkey, apple and walnut stuffing, spiced cranberry orange sauce and more.
Cost: $59 for adults, $35 for children and free for children younger than 5 years old. Tickets are nonrefundable. Make your reservation online.
Great Dane Pub & Brewing Co. - all locations
The Great Dane will offer a limited regular menu at all four Madison locations. Hilldale and Fitchburg locations will offer Thanksgiving buffets beginning at 11 a.m. The downtown and eastside locations will serve roast turkey dinners beginning at noon.
Cost: Will vary based on meal.
Rare Steakhouse
Enjoy a traditional sit-down Thanksgiving dinner with turkey or steak at Rare, open from 2 to 6:45 p.m. Reservations are recommended. Click here to learn more.
The Statehouse
The Statehouse, located in the historic Edgewater Hotel will serve its regular menu in addition to a special Thanksgiving menu from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Cost: $46 for roasted organic turkey, roasted brussels sprouts with Nueske's bourbon glazed bacon, brioche stuffing, rosemary garlic whipped potatoes and turkey gravy. $52 or $44 for Statehouse herb-crusted prime rib, French green beans with applewood smoked bacon, loaded baked potato and au jus. $13 for autumn cheesecake.
To-go Thanksgiving meals
Beef Butter BBQ
Have your Thanksgiving meal prepared for you by Beef Butter BBQ. Hot meals will be available for pickup on Thanksgiving from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. or picked up cold for reheat in advance.
Cost: $85 for smoked turkey only. $139 for smoked turkey dinner with all sides. $69 for smoked turkey cold for reheat. $129 for smoked turkey dinner cold for reheat.
Bloom Bake Shop
Fill your table with Bloom Bake Shop treats, including apple, maple pecan, and spiced pumpkin tarts and chocolate bourbon, pumpkin rum, and vanilla raspberry layer cakes. Round out your meal with focaccia, dinner rolls, baguettes, and biscuits. Vegan and gluten-free options are available.
Fromagination
It's no Thanksgiving without an impressive cheese spread and the mongers at Fromagination are here to help. Order a curated, ready-to-go cheese-and-companions assortment with a how-to plating guide or work one-on-one with a cheesemonger to create a specialty cheese board. Add Rush Creek Reserve, a special seasonal cheese, for an indulgent, savory treat.
Great Dane Pub & Brewing Co.- Downtown and Eastside locations
Get all the great flavors of Great Dane's Thanksgiving specials at home with meat and plant-based options. Pre-order carryout only.
Cost: $20 for turkey dinner, $18 for roasted root veggie pot pie. All meals come with sides and a slice of pie.
L'Etoile
Treat you and your guests to a unforgettable meal from the kitchen of James Beard Award winner Chef Tory Miller's L'Etoile. Thanksgiving dinners for five will be available for pickup Wednesday, November 27.
Cost: $350 per meal. Each meal includes a turkey roulade and seven side dishes plus a pie of your choice. Additional wine offerings and additional pies will be available to add on.
Ian's Pizza
If you're looking for an untraditional, funky twist on Thanksgiving, Ian's Pizza has what you're looking for. Ian's is teaming up with Great Lakes Brewery for their take-and-bake 16" Thanksgiving pizza with optional add on of a 12" pumpkin pie pizza and four cans of beer from Great Lakes Brewing based out of Cleveland. Orders must be made online by Nov. 24.
Pasture and Plenty
The Pasture and Plenty culinary team is baking and making all of the festive, harvest goodness, loaded with local ingredients and love. Take-and-bake holiday meals — featuring locally sourced turkeys from Riemer Family Farm — are easy. Just roast your turkey (and use the P&P brining kit), reheat the sides, pour the wine and enjoy.
Need help with sweets? Pies from Tart and cinnamon rolls from the P&P Bakeshop are available to make your gatherings just a bit more festive and sweet.
